  5. 1st Annual Halloween Parade

    Event Starts: October 31, 2020

Let's start a new neighborhood tradition with a Halloween Parade and Golf Cart Decorating Contest around the heart of our neighborhood!

Everyone should dress up or come out and see the costumes of the kids/adults/pets in the neighborhood! We will take the short walk around the "inside" Exeter/Earl block (to save little legs for the actual Trick or Treating) and every child will receive a goodie bag from the HOA. Please RSVP so we are sure we have enough bags. Golf carts will drive around the block on the street in a second parade to promptly follow the first. Spectators should line the "outside" sidewalk of the Earl/Exeter block to allow for social distancing and enjoyment of the parades.

Want to participate in hosting Trick or Treaters in this strange year? Some suggestions are:

      1. Turn on your lights and answer your door as you normally do
      2. Decorate the trunk of your car in a scary way and set up a Trunk or Treat in your driveway and have a seat in your yard/driveway to wish everyone a Happy Halloween
      3. Set up a goodie table outside/Trunk or Treat and wave from your window

This is an unusual year, please participate at your comfort level! We are looking forward to seeing as many of our neighborhood friends as feel comfortable. We do ask that everyone do their best to social distance and wear masks when that is not possible, per Denton County guidelines. We will also need judges for the Golf Cart Contest.

Please let us know if you are interested!
